A data analyst, Sam Learner, created the app River Runner.  It is a wonderful interactive map that follows your (imaginary) raindrop’s path from wherever you drop it on the U.S. map, down rivers and streams to see where it ends up. Join your raindrop as it makes its way to the ocean or other large bodies of water. Choose a place in the contiguous US and the map will carry you along the creeks and rivers that flow from that place until you reach the ocean. You are flying just above your raindrop as if you are a drone so you get a photo-realistic aerial view.  You pass over towns and farms, ponds, streams, and lots more.  It is amazing.

This extra light travel umbrella was a successful Kickstarter project and now gets rave reviews on Amazon.  I hate to add a travel umbrella to my pocketbook because it usually is heavy and takes up too much space.  The Brolly Tube solves both problems.  It weighs only 3 oz. and is 17.5 times stronger than steel and five times lighter.  It is 8.1”H x 1.6” L x 1.6” W.  It dries very quickly after getting wet. It has a WindBrace structure that allows the umbrella to bend upward when the wind is too strong so that the umbrella isn’t damaged.  $18.99.
