I don’t usually buy the latest gadget, but this one was highly reviewed, affordable, and useful, so I took the plunge. This video camera, the size of an iphone, is fantastic for what it is, which is simple. You can zoom in and out, and that’s it. Put in 2 AA batteries, push the “on” button and shoot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of film I got. The best part is that you flip down the plug on the side and plug it right into your computer to download. I easily transferred the film I took at a wedding onto a CD and sent it to the parents of the bride. It couldn’t have been easier. It retails for $180 but Amazon is selling it at $124.95.
For about $30 more, get the Mino. It charges off your computer, no batteries.
