Clocks are useful and can add design and whimsy to a décor.  Here are some unusual favorites that I’ve crossed paths with recently.

Omar the Owl is certainly a whimsical clock, but not so childish that he needs to be limited to a child’s room.  He is a George Nelson design from 1965.  The clock is 10” x 11”.  It is made from lacquered wood and is battery operated.  $150.00.

I seem to be on an animal theme, but I love this Happy Hot Dog Clock.  It also comes in black and is $49.95.  It is 16” wide x 9” tall.

I love George Nelson’s Eye Clock design. This wall clock is currently on sale for 50% off at $209.00.  The clock is aluminum and brushed brass.  It is 30”w x 13.5”h.

This Tic & Tac Clock by Kartell comes in nine colors.  It is 12” x 12”.  It is in a transparent square box with Roman numerals engraved on the surface. $129

This is a large round clock, 21” in diameter.  It comes in five colors – white, yellow, orange, green and blue.  It is $135.00.

The same round clock comes in a 12” size in the same five colors.  It is $60.00.

This Moderne Clock is 12” square and comes in the same five colors as the two above.  $60.00.

This Overlook Wire 20” wall clock from CB2 is great looking.  It is on sale for $49.99.

This Telechron Wooden Sunburst clock will add lots of interest to your wall. $144.00
