decorative serving trays ideas

I use trays more in nice weather than I do any other time of year.  I’m always carrying food or drinks from inside to out and back again.  I have a variety of sizes and shapes.  Here are some snappy ones to add to your collection.

HAY makes this perforated tray in six colors and in small, medium and large.  I like the large size – .75”H x 13.75” in diameter.  They are made from aluminum.  The small is $35.00, the medium is $40.00 and the large is $60.00.

This enamel tray from HAY has a steel core and can be used for hot or cold temperatures.  It is available in five colors, and some colors also come in a round shape.  The rectangular shape is 1.75”H x 11”L x 7.75”W.  It is $25.00.

This Ikea tray is not food safe, but is decorative and useful for serving.  It is made from mango wood and then lacquered.  The handles are steel.  It is 20”L x 13”W x 4”H and $29.99.

I love this extra large banquet tray made by Annieglass.  It is 21.5″L x 7.25″W.  It comes with a gold edge or a platinum edge and is dishwasher safe.  $263.00.

This large Caspari rattan tray is a lovely way to serve drinks, cheeses and crackers, or left in the bar or on the kitchen counter.  It is made from rattan in a durable double-weave.  It is handmade in Myanmar and is $52.00.

These nature-inspired lacquer serving trays come from a woman-owned company in San Francisco. The vertical sides of these trays almost glow with a slightly translucent lacquer. There are many more appealing patterns in each size.
