I have a brand new favorite series that I never want to end! It stars Keri Russell of Felicity fame, and it’s wonderful. The Diplomat premiered on Netflix on April 20^th. The writing is excellent, and the plot balances humor and suspense beautifully. The basic premise is that the very new U.S. ambassador to the U.K. must defuse an international crisis while she is also getting settled into her new job and managing a very challenging relationship with her husband, also a career diplomat. It is rated for Mature Audiences and the F*** word is liberally used. It is SO good that is has already been renewed for a second season.
