I recently learned that I could scan documents from my iPhone X. Since my printer seems to have forgotten its job description, I’m very happy to have the back up on my iPhone. Here’s how to scan from your iPhone using the Notes app.
- Open the Notes app and select a Note or create a new one
- Down on the bottom of screen select the camera button
- From the menu that pops up select ‘scan documents’
- Take a photo of the document
- Select Save or scan additional documents.
This also works on an iPad. It’s a very convenient feature.

The summer sun is still going strong even though we are getting a little less of it every day. For times when I don’t want to wear a heavy sunscreen, but would like some sun protection for my face, I have been in the market for a daily facial moisturizer that has SPF. According to surveys I’ve read, CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion is very popular among dermatologists. It is equally great for mature skin, dry skin, or oily skin and has broad spectrum 30 SPF. On Amazon, 26,000 people gave it a full 5 stars. 3 ounces for $13.49.
