Sight & Sound is a monthly British film magazine published by the British Film Institute. In 1952 the Institute began conducting the well-known, once a decade Sight & Sound poll of the Greatest Films of All Time. The poll is highly respected in the film industry. The film critic Roger Ebert said it is “the only poll most serious movie people take seriously”. The last poll was conducted in 2022.
