Wirecutter, the product evaluator owned by the New York Times, recently did a survey of the best potato chips. They had 10 categories of chips, but my favorite is a plain, lightly salted chip. In that category there was a surprising winner – Amazon’s Fresh Classic Potato Chips. They have “a crisp texture and fresh potato flavor, with just the right amount of salt.” These chips are only available from Amazon.

There are many uses of nail polish remover beyond actually removing nail polish. Most nail polish removers are acetone, and they are great at dissolving difficult substances. Non-acetone nail polish remover alternatives can also be used for gentler cleaning tasks. Here are some of the most popular uses:
Non-acetone nail polish remover will quickly remove any sticky substance on glass, wood, or plastic surfaces (acetone might damage plastic surfaces). Using a cotton ball or paper towel, blot the sticky mess until it is saturated and let it sit for several minutes. Wipe it clean.
Ceramic surfaces like tiles can scratch if you use too much force with an abrasive. Instead, with a rag or cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover, clean the area. Then wash the area with soap and water.
Nail polish remover can erase inks, even permanent ink, on skin, glass, and most fabrics. Use a cotton ball to dab the stain with the remover until it fades or pour a small amount directly on the spot. Then wash normally.
Dissolve stubborn adhesive including superglue by saturating the adhesive, let it sit, and wipe it away.
Non-acetone remover will clean computer keyboards. Use the remover to gently wipe the grime from your keyboard and its sheen will return.
If you bought too much of your favorite nail polish at a 2 for 1 sale and it’s begun to harden, a drop or two of acetone added to the bottle of clumpy nail polish will liquefy the polish to the perfect consistency to paint your nails.
Netflix has a strange code system for their content categories. This website is an attempt at making the code system usable by Netflix viewers.
How to use this site:
- On the left side of the home page find the category you want to search and click on its two -digit code. For example, Documentaries is 13.
- Up will come all the options in the category you chose. Choose the documentary genre you want, for example
- Click on the subset and browse. https://www.netflix-codes.com/
Someone on Reddit started a conversation about the internal filters people use (or maybe should use) before speaking. I have chosen the ones I found the most helpful:
Is it kind? Is it true?
Is this something that needs to be said?
Is this something that needs to be said by me?
Is this something that needs to be said by me right now?
