Get hooked up!
Hooks can be boring and purely functional, or they can be eye-catching and whimsical. I love to find interesting, expressive and unusual hooks and here are some of my favorites.
Anthropologie has a thing for hooks. Their selection in House & Home is amazing. The last time I counted, they stocked almost 100 unique hooks. These Horticulture Hooks are made from stoneware and iron. They are 4”h x 2”w and project 1.5”. They come in rose or blue/green. $22.50 each. Hardware not included.
I find this Philomena Hook so charming. It’s a cute bunny that is made from stoneware and metal, is 3.75”h x 3”w and projects 1.75”. It is $18.00. Hardware not included.
This hook is not as whimsical but very practical. It’s called the Triplicate Hook and can hold lots of hanging items. It comes in four finishes – brushed gold, brushed silver, antique silver and blackened iron. It is made from brass and is 5.5”h x 11”w with a 6.5” projection. Hardware not included. $48.00.
This is a lovely curved coat hook with a classic but updated look. It is made from cast brass and comes in four finishes. It is 1”w x 6”h and projects 2.75”. Mounting hardware is included. $29.00.
The Teddy Hook is a wood peg with a simple leather strap which holds scarves, gloves or other accessories. The leather straps are available in brown, black, pink, turquoise and coral.
