This popular cultural trend for Audible has attracted many new listeners.
“Stories so powerful they have to be heard “.
Audible Originals are exclusive audio stories created by well known writers from many fields – journalism, literature, theater and more. They are for your ears, not your eyes. These works are produced in the Audible studios and are only available from Audible. The offerings are divided into categories which include Romance, Sci-Fi and Fantasy, Science, Family, Mysteries & Thrillers, and more. Most of the Originals are 2-4 hours long, so they are easy to complete in a day or two. There are over one hundred titles to choose from currently.
Here is a sampling of a few titles I’m interested in listening to, to give you an idea of what is offered.

Audible gives back:Audible Stories was a pandemic creation. Audible wanted to make free stories available to children to stimulate imaginations, give their parents a break, and create something parents and children could do together. Audible made Audible Stories free to children, no subscription needed. The stories were 15-20 minutes in length, available for kids of all ages and in nine languages.
Over the past 15 months, tens of millions of parents, caregivers, and educators from 180 countries and territories around the world availed themselves of this lovely Audible gesture for children. Now that schools have reopened, the program has been suspended.
Put Audible Stories in the back of your mind in case we ever have another shut down for any period of time! What a great resource, we applaud this effort.
