An excuse to have a treat for 24 days in a row!

I have always been a big fan of advent calendars.  My mother thought one would distract me while waiting for Christmas to finally arrive.  The other trick my mother had was to let me open a very few presents several days prior to December 25th, but they had to be from family members or godparents and I had to write a thank-you note – the day I opened the present. That way, most of my thank-you notes were done by Christmas day.  Very clever.

When it comes to advent calendars, there is something for everyone. Each site has more than one calendar to choose from, so browse.
