Friday Bulletin Paper Brené Brown

Timely nuggets of information and ideas we want to share with you.

The BBC series called The Reassembler is shown on You Tube. The Reassembler is James May, the host, a Brit, and he takes things apart and puts things back together with a running narrative. He takes apart everyday objects into “hundreds of bits”, puts them back together again, and then makes sure they work. The first episode took apart a lawnmower, “300+ lawnmowery type bits”. The show just completed its third season and is very popular. He’s reassembled food mixers, a toy train set, a telephone, an electric guitar and many more items! He is very funny. Each episode is 30 minutes.

A good flashmob creates magic. This one in Germany to ‘Stairway to Heaven’ by Led Zeppelin is wonderful. I love the feeling of community that a flashmob inspires, it’s quite moving.
