pajamas

Our favorite pajamas websites.

All the females in my immediate family adore sleepwear. We like different types. Several of us are nightgowns and nightshirts fans, one daughter is a boxer shorts and t- shirt fan, others like it all. Fabric quality and comfort are all-important when it comes to what you wear to sleep. A little style doesn’t hurt either. Here are our favorite sleepwear, loungewear and lingerie sites.

LAKE pajamas are practical, comfortable and feminine. The pajamas are simple, no buttons or drawstrings. The fabrics are stripes, prints and solids and are very soft. They sell robes, nightgowns, shorts sets and pants sets.

Andy Spade founded Sleepy Jones in 2013. It is a collection of sleepwear, underwear and relaxed clothes for men and women. They make sleepwear and underwear in classic fabrics that are comfortable and stylish all at the same time. Their products are fun and comfortable. “Lounging is a luxury”.

Eberjey was founded by two friends who wanted to put the beauty back into lingerie. They sell pretty, flattering lingerie and their company is worldwide.   They sell women’s underwear, sleepwear and loungewear. They also have one men’s PJ set. My daughters report that their sleepwear is “cute and comfy”.

Roberta Roller Rabbit was launched in 2003 with a line of colorful hand block printed Kurtas – the loose, lightweight cotton Indian long collarless shirts. In the U.S. they are often worn as bathing suit cover-ups or tunic tops.   They were so popular that the company branched into many other products to include clothing for men, women and children, home furnishings and accessories. They sell matching pajama sets and loungewear for men, women, children and babies. The pajamas are made from soft, breathable cotton which only improve with a couple washings. I love the products and have great light cotton cover-ups, pajamas and placemats, all in colorful prints.

The actress Robin Wright and designer Karen Fowler founded the socially conscious company, Pour Les Femmes, to make simple, beautiful and good quality sleepwear and provide economic opportunities for women in areas of conflict in the Congo. They sell pajama sets for men and women, nightgowns and robes, sleep shirts, beach cover-ups and beach towels.

Marigot is run by a mother/daughter team. They focus on classic loungewear styles using beautiful fabrics. They make long and short pajama sets, nightshirts, robes, tunics, boxers and sweaters – only for women. In each style they do not overwhelm you with options. Each collection is carefully curated in wonderful fabrics and prints.

I particularly love the p.jamas nightgowns, but the pajama sets have many fans. Their cottons are wonderful and all their products are flattering. They make pajamas, robes, nightgowns, nightshirts and shorts for women. They make pajamas, robes, nightshirts, t-shirts and shorts for men, and all of the above for kids.

I discovered Laurence Tavernier in Paris many years ago. In the U.S. the line is carried by Yves Delorme. I love its crisp simple cotton nightgowns. It also has pajama sets, robes, other types of cottons and prints.
