clothes for newborns

Great Baby Clothes Online.

Our daughter gave birth to twins yesterday in San Francisco – and I am NOT THERE.  I am having fun shopping ‘virtually’ for the twins, a boy and a girl.  There are new, small, wonderful designers online and I have also gone back to some classic favorites.  Even if you don’t have a new baby – these are appealing, and it is fun to focus on new life.

Louelle has studios in New York and Melbourne.  Louelle aims to create ‘everyday luxury’ for children with high-quality, breathable, soft fabrics.  They work in a sustainable way.

These Louelle Gingham cornered towels are white, double-sided terry fabric with a dusty pink or pink gingham fabric trim.  100% cotton. 29.5” x 29.5”.  Each Hooded towel and wash glove | Dusty pink or blue gingham.  $79.  Monogram available for an additional $25.

Petite Plume makes classic children’s pajamas in a cotton/poly blend so they’re light and airy. They have a generous fit. The short pajamas come in several patterns, $48.  Long sleeves and legs, $58, Nightgown $48.

Albetta is a British brand which sells on the Maisonette website.  I love these all-cotton onesies with crochet ducks or stripes with a lion.  $50.00

Paige Lauran started her company to provide simple, timeless clothes for children with luxurious fabrics, fine tailoring, and subtle yet thoughtful details. Baby Footie Romper – classic layette.  $44

Hill House Home was founded by Nell Diamond, who grew up between London, Tokyo, and New York.  She began making luxury sheets and towels, and now makes luxury products for babies.

Hill House ‘Keep Me Cozy Kit’.  $65

Kissy, Kissy specializes in clothes for babies.  Made with Peruvian Pima cotton which is some of the softest on the market.  They’re a well-established favorite of department stores globally. Footed one-piece suits:

Garden Roses – $38,

Noahs’ Ark – $42

Aviators – $41

Solid with collar – $48

Little English: Started by a mother-daughter duo in Memphis, Little English makes adorable traditional English clothes. $38.00 to $52.00.

Jacadi and Roberta Roller Rabbit are not new to baby clothes, but they are such favorites of mine that I have included them.  I love almost everything Jacadi makes.  Their stores have ‘eye-candy’ for grandmothers!  These newborn and infant-footed pajamas and jumpsuits are $49 to $59.  100% Cotton.

Roberta Roller Rabbit’s 100% Pima Cotton Infant Hearts Footed Pajamas are classics.  $55 each.
